From an address to answers, in minutes.

  1. Add an address

Type a street and pin the door. Tos walks the neighbourhood around it and comes back with the report.

Adding an address: the street and number, then the pin on the door.
  2. Tos walks the 800 m around the door

Close the app if you like. A notification tells you when Tos is back.

Tos is walking: scores appear one by one as they are ready.
  3. The preview is free

Livability and every group get a score at no cost, up to 3 overviews a day. When Tos has to infer a score from the area, it is marked as an estimate.

  4. Unlock a group for 10 coins

One unlock opens up to 3 scores of a group, and they stay unlocked on that address. You get 10 welcome coins the first time you open the app.

Unlock only the scores you care about

Pay only for the groups that matter to you. What you unlock stays unlocked on that address while you keep it.

  • 10 coins arrive the first time you open the app, as a welcome gift.
  • 10 coins open one group: you pick up to 3 of its scores, and a small group opens whole.
  • A second unlock of the same group adds up to 3 more.
  • A video you choose to watch earns +1 coin, up to 3 a day.
  • One bundle opens all 97 scores for an address. What you already paid there counts toward it.
  • Coin packs from 10 to 100. No subscription. Coins do not expire and stay on your phone.

Honest about its limits

Tos says what it measured, what it estimated and what it could not find.

  • When Tos finds too little behind a score you unlocked, that score says No data.
  • Estimates are marked as estimates.
  • Reports are AI-generated and are not professional advice. Check anything you will decide on.
  • No location permission. TownSpec works from the addresses you type, not from where your phone is.

Questions

What is TownSpec?

An app for iPhone and Android that turns an address into 97 scores in 23 groups, from noise and air to schools, transport and prices. Tos, the fox in the purple hoodie, studies the 800 m around the door.

What does it cost?

The overview is free: livability and the 23 group scores, up to 3 overviews a day. A group costs 10 coins and opens up to 3 of its scores. You get 10 coins the first time you open the app, +1 for each video you choose to watch (up to 3 a day), or packs in the app. There is no subscription.

Which addresses work?

Any street address you can type. Tos researches it when you ask. Where Tos finds too little about something, that score says No data.

How accurate is it?

Reports are AI-generated and are not professional advice. Counts, places and minutes are estimates and are marked as such. Check anything you will decide on.

Does it need my location?

No. TownSpec has no location permission. It works from the addresses you type, never from where your phone is.

Do coins expire?

No. Coins stay in the app on your phone, also when you reinstall it. They do not move to a new phone.

How many addresses can I keep?

Up to 5 at a time. What you unlock stays unlocked on that address while you keep it. Removing an address removes its unlocks, and coins spent on it are not refunded.

Which languages does it speak?

The app is available in 14 languages: English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Русский, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文, Bahasa Indonesia, हिन्दी, and العربية.

When can I get it?

TownSpec is coming soon to iPhone and Android. On launch day this page links to the App Store and Google Play.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Profile and choose Delete account. You can also follow the steps on the delete account page. Delete your account
